Product-Specific Commands—Description
:TRACe:POINts?
Description This query returns the number of measurement
data points in the
specified trace.
This command has no associated *RST condition.
Syntax :TRACe:POINts?<wsp><TraceName>
Parameter(s) TraceName:
The program data syntax for <TraceName> is
defined as a <STRING PROGRAM DATA>
element.
The <TraceName> parameter corresponds to the
name of the trace to select.
Response Syntax <Points>
Response(s) Points:
The response data syntax for <Points> is defined
as a <NR1 NUMERIC RESPONSE DATA>
element.
The <Points> response corresponds to the
number of points in the specified trace.
Example(s) TRAC:POIN? "TRC1" Returns 8000
Notes The only valid trace name is "TRC1".
Trace data is available only if trace analysis was
performed.
