Configuring the Time Server Settings
Configuring the Time Server Settings
You can configure time server settings of the host from the Host Web UI.
To configure the time server settings:
1. Start the Host Web UI. For more information, see Accessing and Exiting
the Host Web UI on page 87.
2. From the Configuration menu, click Host.
3. Click Time Server Settings.
4. To modify the displayed information, click Edit.
5. In the IP / Host address field, enter the IP address or the host address
of the time server that you are using.
Note: For your unit to be synchronized with a time server, ensure that you specify
the address (or the name) of an NTP server that your unit can reach.
Note: A Fiber Guardian unit cannot be used as a time server.
6. From the Sync frequency list, select the time frame that the host
should synchronize with the time server.
7. To confirm the changes, click Apply.
